 Call for 2006 workshop proposals
March 24 is the deadline to submit the title, description, and panelists' names for your Build Boston workshop. Some 14,000 professionals from the Northeast and elsewhere registered for Build Boston last November; the quality of the Build Boston professional development programming certainly is a major reason for that. Go to http://www.architects.org/workshop, enter all the required information and submit your proposal online (we can only accept online submissions).

2005 Build Boston – The Largest Regional Convention Of Its Kind In The USA

Build Boston 2005 broke all records during its recent stay at the Seaport World Trade Center Boston in November.   Build Boston featured three days of workshops a tradeshow; a keynote luncheon sponsored by McGraw-Hill Construction and a closing night Gala and Design Celebration.  Several symposiums addressed diversity, women in the design professions, the Massachusetts Building Code, memorials, housing, materials, small firms, smart growth, the public interest and k-12 facilities design.

Exhibits

The tradeshow floor was a complete sell-out with over 350 exhibitors participating.  The exhibit hall was packed with displays of new products and services for the industry.  Exceptional exhibits of the work of New England architects, interior designers and landscape architects were also on display.

Exhibitors know the meaning of early planning when it comes to Build Boston… it’s close to a sell-out for ’06!  To exhibit, call 800-996-3863.

Attendees

Registrants totaled over 14,000 industry professionals…the largest ever!  Visitors enjoyed attending workshops (boasting capacity crowds), walking the show floor and participating in ancillary events held throughout the week.

BSA/Build Boston Gala And Design Celebration

Over 600 BSA members and friends throughout the region and the country gathered for the finale of Build Boston marked by a multi-media visual extravaganza, and a delightful evening of music, refreshments and networking with colleagues and clients.
